In this assignment we were given a photo of a car, and directions to edit the image and make it look better. After finishing that we could make our own for fun without directions.. Original photo Edited photo Photo edited for fun Through this assignment, I learned how to use more photoshop skills including the importance of layers, how to change brush size and how to use the quick select tool.

For this project we used photoshop to manually edit these photos like the filter in photobooth. Original photo Popart photo Popart for fun In this assignment I learned how to navigate photoshop more and learned how to use some of the tools better.
In this assignment, I had to take close up picture using the "Macro" setting on the camera and reveal details not often seen. Best phototechnical dataShutter speed: 1/4500 Aperture: F5.0 ISO: 400 In this assignment I learned how to use the macro setting on my camera and became more familiar with shutter speed, aperture, ISO and how they all play a part in a good photograph.
For my second photo assignment I want to do macro. In the last assignment I focused on the bigger picture and a fast shutter speed so I think it would benefit me to practice zoom and focus on something closer. Some inspirational photographs I have found online:
For this assignment we were told to pick an element to capture and take 50-100 photos. At the end we would turn in our best photo and turn it in for a grade. Best photoTechnical dataShutter speed: 1/1000 Aperture: F3.4 ISO: 1600 I learned that shutter, aperture, and ISO all have a role in the exposure of a picture, and how to balance them out to let in the right amount of light.
For my first photo shooting assignment I have chosen to focus on the subject of animals. I am hoping to work on getting better at focusing on a moving subject in my photographs and adjusting shutter speeds in the camera. Some photographs I have found online and will use as inspiration are: I like these examples because they show good examples of how I should focus on the subject(s). I have two dogs and haven't decided which one i will turn in pictures of yet.
In this assignment, we were told to take pictures using different shutter speeds and apertures, compare them and find the differences. Shutter 1/8 shutter speed 1/30 shutter speed 1/125 shutter speed 1/250 shutter speed In the top photo, you can obviously see that it is very blurry. You can tell that there is movement going on in the photo, compared to the bottom photo, the image is still due to a quicker shutter speed. Aperture3.4 aperture 4.5 aperture 5.6 aperture 8.0 aperture In the top photo, I was trying to focus on the foreground (railing) more and blur out the things behind it by making the aperture bigger. In the bottom photo I made the aperture smaller aiming to focus on the railing and the background (signs, floor, lights) more than I did in the other photos. questionsA fast shutter speed=
When the shutter speed on a camera is set faster, less light is let into the picture you take, resulting on a lower exposure. A slow shutter speed= A slower shutter speed results in a higher exposure picture meaning it would be really bright. This is because when you set the shutter speed to slower it has more time to let in more light. A LARGE aperture size= When there is a large aperture, this results in a picture where there is a small focal point, with a blurred background. A SMALL aperture size = A small aperture results in a photo where everything is in focus, including the foreground, subject of your photo, and the background. There is a large focal point. Project Description For this assignment, we were told to explore and capture example pictures of the following elements: (comp 1) the rule of thirds, pattern, symmetry, texture, depth of field, lines (comp 2) framing, perspective, space, balance, color. The Rule of Thirds Pattern Symmetry Texture Depth of Field Lines Framing Perspective Space Balance Color
